Since 2000, Montana Ale Works’ friendly dedicated staff has been serving inspired, innovative food, regionally craft brewed pints and classic cocktails in a retro-industrial, renovated freighthouse beneath the stunning Bridger Mountains in downtown Bozeman.

Originally built by the Northern Pacific railroad in 1916, this cool and funky space in Bozeman’s historic East end has been lovingly restored as a restaurant, bar and vibrant local gathering place for the community. 

Annual “Best Of Bozeman” awards reflect community support for what we do. In 2012, Ale Works was voted best overall restaurant, best bar, best customer service, best beer selection, best dessert and best place for a first date. The overall vibe of hospitality makes Ale Works Bozeman's “go-to” place to gather, hang out, drink great beer and eat lovingly crafted food.
